This pistol is being discontinued by Walther
The Walther SSP is the shooting star among sporting pistols. Thanks to its superb dependability and advanced technology, shooters can be sure of maximum precision. Walther has developed a new variant of the SSP: the SSP-E. The electronic trigger ensures wear-free operation and exact trigger settings for up to 500,000 rounds. This makes it an ideal sporting pistol. Intensive dry-firing under realistic competition conditions is also possible. The Walther SSP-E is ideal for rapid fire events – the rapid, continuous fire of the electronic trigger is a significant advantage.
The Walther SSP-E .22 LR semi-auto target pistol features a fully adjustable trigger, rotatable front sight in three widths and adjustable rear sight. It is available with a 3D walnut adjustable grip in right or left, variable center of gravity, and reduced recoil with pneumatic dampening system.
Advantages of the Walther e-trigger include wear-free operation and exact trigger settings over many years; choice between adjustable two-stage mode and direct trigger mode; and realistic dry-firing conditions (dry-firing trigger). The SSP-E uses a rechargeable battery; rechargeable via mini-USB from any PC or charger. The charging time for 100 rounds is approximately 1 min, and the total charging time is approximately 90 min with 6000 rounds per full battery. Plus it has LED indicators for system readiness and battery charge level, and automatic e-trigger turnoff when not in use.
Renowned throughout the world for innovation: CARL WALTHER.
Walther guns have always been in a class of their own: from the 6.35 mm semiautomatic Model 1, designed in 1908 and sold starting in 1911, to the classic PP and PPK, and then the P38, which had a second career as the German army’s P1 service pistol, and right through to the present-day PPQ and its all-steel sisters, the Q5 and Q4 Steelframe.
Each of these pistols is regarded as a milestone in development. The same is true for the sporting rifles and pistols that bear the famous Walther banner, such as the iconic Walther GSP.
Another example is the LP 500 air pistol. Its trigger pull profile, ergonomics, balance and weight distribution make it the first choice of demanding shooters all over the world.
Or the innovative high-end KK 500.
And finally, the LG 400 air rifle. The version with an innovative monotec mounting delivers an extraordinary boost in performance and has attracted notice throughout the industry.
